A haveli of 14 rooms · since 1826 (sample)

Sleep inside Jodhpur's history, under the fort.

Carved jharokhas, frescoed suites and a rooftop that looks straight at Mehrangarh. Restored by the family that built it, run with the warmth of a home.

Five generations, one courtyard.

Suraj Mahal was built by a family of Marwari traders in 1826 (sample story). We restored it room by room with the same lime plaster, stone carvers and fresco painters, and opened our doors to guests in 2009.
