Our work

Care that reaches the last village

Camps, eye care, a mobile clinic and village health workers across five districts.

Five districts of western Rajasthan

Village health camps

A team of doctors, nurses and pharmacists sets up in a school or panchayat building for a day: check-ups, basic tests, free medicines and referrals.

  • Free consultation, tests and medicines
  • Referrals to district hospitals with follow-up calls
  • Camps announced a week ahead by the gram panchayat

148 camps in 2025–26 (sample)

Partner hospitals in Jodhpur

Eye care and cataract surgery

At eye camps we test vision, hand out spectacles the same day, and arrange free cataract surgery at partner hospitals, with transport both ways.

  • Spectacles made on the spot
  • Free cataract surgery with transport
  • Follow-up at the next camp

2,900 cataract surgeries arranged (sample)

Barmer and Jaisalmer

Mobile clinic

Our van has a doctor, a nurse and a pharmacy, and visits the same hamlets on the same day each week, so people know when it's coming.

  • Fixed weekly route across 40 hamlets
  • Diabetes and blood pressure registers
  • Telemedicine with specialists

40 hamlets every week

Nagaur and Bikaner

Village health workers

We train one woman from each village in first aid, maternal health and diabetes screening, and pay her a monthly honorarium.

  • Six-week training with refresher days
  • A kit with a BP machine and glucometer
  • Monthly honorarium
