About us
Doctors who decided to make house calls, to whole villages.
In 2016 four doctors from Jodhpur spent a weekend in a village near Osian and saw 400 patients in a day (sample story). They went back the next month, and the month after.
Today Sehat runs three camps a week, a mobile clinic and a network of village health workers, with 420 volunteer doctors and nurses.
What guides us
Free, always
Patients never pay for a consultation, a test or a medicine at our camps.
Follow-up matters
A camp is the start. Every referral gets a call.
Local first
We work with gram panchayats, ASHA workers and district hospitals.
Evidence
Every camp's data goes to the district health office.

In their words
My mother had her cataract surgery for free and can see her grandchildren clearly again. They even drove us back home.
Kamla Ram, Osian (sample)
I volunteer two Saturdays a month. It's the most honest medicine I practise.
Dr. Ritu Bhandari, physician, Jodhpur (sample)
The camp found my sugar was high. Now the health worker checks it every month.
Bhanwari Devi, Merta City (sample)
Next camp needs volunteers.
Doctors, nurses and helpers: one Saturday makes a whole village's health check possible.
