About us
We're the Joshis. This is our home.
Our grandfather planted this orchard in 1962 (sample story). When the children moved to the cities, the house went quiet, so in 2015 we opened three rooms to guests and moved back from Delhi.
We're still a family home: aunty runs the kitchen, uncle runs the orchard, and we run around after everyone. Most guests leave with a jar of our apricot jam.
How we host
Home food
What we eat is what you eat: seasonal, local and cooked fresh.
Small on purpose
Never more than 12 guests, so the hills stay quiet.
Local first
Our taxi drivers, guides and plumbers are from the village.
Leave no trace
No single-use plastic, and we compost everything.

Aunty's dinner and the bonfire under all those stars. Our kids still talk about the dog that walked us to Chauli ki Jali.
