About us
Too much food in one place, too little in another.
In 2017 a hotel manager watched 200 plates of food go into the bin after a conference (sample story). That night he drove them to a night shelter instead. The next week, he did it again.
Today Annapurna cooks 9,500 meals a day in eight kitchens and rescues surplus food from 140 hotels and caterers.
