Getting to Udaipur
Udaipur is easy to reach by air, rail or road. Tell us how you're coming in the RSVP and we'll arrange the rest.
By air
Maharana Pratap Airport (UDR) is 22 km from the hotel, about 35 minutes by car. There are direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Jaipur. Flights fill up in wedding season, so book early.
By train
Udaipur City station is 15 minutes from the hotel. Overnight trains run from Delhi, Jaipur and Ahmedabad; arriving in the morning works well for Friday's haldi.
By road
Ahmedabad is about 260 km (4½ hours) and Jaipur about 395 km (6½ hours) on good highways. The hotel has free parking for guests; tell us your car number in the RSVP message.

While you're here
Local tips
- Sunset boat on Lake Pichola. Boats leave from the City Palace jetty; the last one is the best one.
- City Palace and Jagdish Temple. Both are a short walk from the old-city ghats. Go in the morning, before the crowds.
- Eat. Dal baati churma, mirchi vada and kachori in the old city. Ask any of Meera's cousins for their favourite stall.
- Shop. Block prints, silver and miniature paintings in Hathi Pol. Bargain gently.
- Saturday morning is free. A good time for the Saheliyon ki Bari gardens or a lazy breakfast before the sangeet.
