Day oneFriday 12 February

Haldi
Turmeric paste, marigold showers and a dhol that won't stop. Brunch is served on the lawn.

Mehendi
Henna artists for everyone who wants a design, folk singers, swings and a chaat counter under the trees.

Day twoSaturday 13 February

Sangeet
Both families have been rehearsing for months. Performances first, then the dance floor opens. Dinner from 9 pm.

Day threeSunday 14 February

Wedding and pheras
The baraat leaves the hotel gate at 10 am. Varmala at 11, pheras at the 11:52 am muhurat, then lunch by the lake.

- Traditional Indian wear in pastels: blush, mint, peach and ivory with colour. Please avoid red (that's the bride's) and black.

Reception
Mr and Mrs, for the first time. Dinner under the lights, a few short speeches and one last dance.

Shuttles between venues. Cars leave the Sample Lake Palace Hotel lobby 30 minutes before every event and run back until the end. Sample Garden Haveli is a 10-minute drive.
