About us
Naturalists first, hoteliers second.
Tiger Trail was started in 2012 by two naturalists who had spent a decade guiding in Tadoba (sample story). They wanted a lodge where the safari came first: early tea, packed breakfasts, and guides who know each tiger by name.
We have 12 cottages and tents, solar power, and a team almost entirely from Moharli and the villages around the reserve.
How we host
The forest comes first
No loud music, no plastic, and we never ask guides to chase a sighting.
Local people, local food
Our cooks, guides and drivers are from the buffer villages.
Honest safaris
Clear prices, real seat counts and no promises of tigers.
Give back
₹500 from every stay funds the village school's nature club (sample).

What guests say
Three safaris, two tigers, one sloth bear and a leopard on the last morning. Our naturalist Sachin knew every waterhole.
Vivek and Anjali, Mumbai (sample)
The safari page showed seats left for each slot. We booked the Tuesday buffer safari we'd never have known about.
Ishaan Gupta, Nagpur (sample)
Sitting on the machan at dusk listening to the alarm calls. Unforgettable.
Sarah M., London (sample)
The forest wakes at 5 am. So do we.
Check safari seats for your dates and send us the request. We book the permits.
