About us
Guru-shishya, in small batches.
The academy began in 1998 in the front room of Pt. Vasant Kulkarni's home on Prabhat Road, with four vocal students (sample story).
Today we teach vocal, tabla, harmonium, guitar and keyboard, but the method is the same: small batches, close attention to every note, and the chance to perform at our baithaks twice a year.
