Our story
Twenty years of Lucknow's biggest nights
Nawab Akhtar Rizvi built Rangmahal in 2004 on his family's old orchard, keeping the baradari and the fountain where they stood (sample story). The lawn came first, then Darbar Hall, then the mirrored Sheesh Mahal.
Today it's four spaces, one Awadhi kitchen and a team of sixty. The rule hasn't changed: one family per space, one events manager per family, and every dish cooked on our own fire.

How we work
One family per space
We never put two weddings in one hall on the same session.
Honest calendar
The dates we show free are free. We hold them for you on WhatsApp, no deposit.
Our own kitchen
No outside caterers, no reheated food. Dum biryani is sealed on site.
On time
Lunch is served by 1 pm, dinner by 9 pm, or the next counter is on us.

From our families
Six hundred guests on the lawn for the pheras, then dinner in Darbar Hall. The galouti counter had a queue all night and not one guest complained.

The calendar on their website showed Sheesh Mahal free for our sangeet. We visited the same evening and held it on WhatsApp in ten minutes.
