We began by opening our own front door.
In 2006 Thakur Vikram Singh restored his family's haveli in Jaipur's old city and began welcoming travellers (sample story). Guests kept asking him to plan the rest of their trip.
Today we design about 600 private journeys a year, each by hand. We only use hotels we have stayed in and drivers we have known for years.
