About us

Two puppies, one balcony, and a lot of phone calls.

Paws of Hope started in 2014 when our founder took in two puppies hit by a car (sample story). Today we run a shelter with a clinic, two ambulances and a 24-hour helpline.

We believe street animals belong to the neighbourhood. We treat, sterilise and vaccinate them, return them where they're safe, and rehome the ones who can't go back.

In their words

  • We adopted Kalu, a three-legged indie, in 2024. The home visit was friendly, and they still check on him on his birthday.

    The Deshpande family, Baner (sample)

  • Their ambulance reached a dog hit on the Satara road within 25 minutes, at midnight.

    Rohan Kulkarni, Katraj (sample)

  • Our society had a feeding dispute. Paws of Hope came in, explained the law calmly, and we found a fix together.
