About us
A school, a home and a hillside.
Gurukul was founded in 1964 on a tea estate on Rajpur Road, with 48 boys and four teachers (sample story). Girls joined in 1992.
Today it's home to 520 students from 22 states and 8 countries. We believe a good school teaches more than subjects: how to live with others, how to lose a match, and how to stand up in front of a hall and speak.
