LASIK and cataract

Is LASIK painful?

No. Numbing drops are used and you feel slight pressure for a few seconds. Eyes may feel gritty for a few hours afterwards.

When is a cataract ready for surgery?

When it gets in the way of daily life, like reading, driving at night or watching TV. You don't need to wait for it to 'ripen'.

Can I drive after an eye check-up?

Not after dilation drops, which blur vision for 3 to 4 hours. Bring someone with you.

Appointments

How do I book an appointment?

Use the booking page or WhatsApp us. We'll confirm the time with you by call or message.

Can I walk in without an appointment?

Yes, during OPD hours, but booked patients are seen first. Booking saves you waiting time.

What should I bring?

Any earlier prescriptions, reports and scans, a list of medicines you take, and an ID.

Fees, insurance and payments

How can I pay?

By UPI, card or cash at the reception. You get a printed bill for every visit.

Visiting and emergencies

Is this website for emergencies?

No. In an emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department straight away.

The contact page has directions and parking details.

Can someone come with the patient?

Yes, one attendant is welcome. Children must always come with a parent or guardian.

Privacy

What happens to the details I send?

The booking form doesn't store anything on this website. It prepares a message you send us on WhatsApp or by email, and we use it only to arrange your visit.

Are my medical records kept private?

Yes. Records are shared only with you and the doctors treating you, unless the law requires otherwise. Replace this answer with your clinic's full privacy policy.
